Living with back pain might feel like a life sentence but that needn't be the case. By staying active we can reduce or even eliminate pain altogether in some cases.
The key is to take it slow and steady, focusing on the movements you are able to do and gradually building up from there. Not only will this help to keep joints lubricated and muscles supple, but it will also keep your mindset positive through endorphins released from movement and the feeling of accomplishment
It's a marathon, not a sprint and remember that progress is never linear. Some days may feel worse than others, but by persevering and moving, there's a good chance of you being able to return to work and all the activities that you love to do.
Back pain needn't ruin your life!
