Low Back Pain is a very common condition. In industrialised countries such as the UK, up to 80% of us will experience back pain at some point in our lives, and the majority - around 85% of back pain - is non-specific, meaning it is not caused by any underlying medical issues or pathology.

Issues such as poor posture, incorrect/compensatory movement patterns, "flat feet"/collapsed arches and repetitive awkward/twisting movements are common in workplaces and everyday life and can contribute to the prevalence of pain.
Movement and exercise is a highly effective method for helping to manage low back pain, however you may feel apprehensive about movement, unsure which exercises are best for you and feel unable to join in conventional gym sessions and classes. With Back Pain / Exercise Rehab sessions you'll be working with a qualified instructor and I will be there for you to share your back pain and the impact it has upon your life for me to better understand and develop a suitable programme of exercise and physical activity that you can engage in safely and enjoy.

Initial Consultation + Functional Movement Analysis
Meet Steph, have an introductory chat about your back pain / issues + run through your posture analysis. Followed by a functional movement analysis where Steph will guide you through a series of movements designed to analyse functionality and highlight muscles imbalances / weaknesses / tightness and compensatory movement patterns
