About Steph

Having danced from a young age, I began my fitness career in my early 20's, delivering group exercise sessions in the local community. After several years in the industry, I grew fascinated by biomechanics and the way that the body works. Over this time, I also developed an interest in Pilates and it's well documented benefits for core strength and posture, so I decided to undertake my qualifications as a Mat Pilates instructor and Low Back Pain specialist.

The Posture Practice grew from my desire to help people move more, with better movement patterns and to teach them the incredible pain-relieving and confidence building benefits that come with exercise and physical activity.

From delivering group exercise classes, I have observed movement patterns and seen first hand how a personal tweak can really make all the difference and I'm excited to be able to work one to one with people at the studio to develop fitness programmes that will deliver real, measurable results - whether it's helping relieve pain or transforming your body through the amazing world of Pilates.
